@about.malai are using organic bacterial cellulose grown on agricultural waste sourced from the coconut industry in India. They utilise waste coconut water that otherwise would be dumped and cause damage to soil. The results are beautiful leather-like fabrics that, and although are made to last, can be composted after use.
